ACC Application Process for Exterior Modifications to your Home

The Board of Directors would like to remind you that the governing documents require each homeowner to submit an ACC Application for approval prior to beginning any exterior modifications to your property. This requirement is not meant to impede on your personal rights, but is in place to ensure that the community standards continue to be of the highest standard as defined in the Declaration. This process also helps to maintain property values and promote harmony within the community.

Exceptions to this process include staining your fence with a pre-approved color, painting your home with the same color or one that is very similar. When in doubt, please submit the application and if it is not necessary you will be notified to proceed.

The application can be found on the community website at www.waterfordtrails.com. Once completed, please submit it to April Tuey, your Association Manager. You will receive notifications via email regarding the status of your application.

October 12, 2011
The Board has recently approved several new colors of fence stain for the community. As the community has begun to mature, please note that many of our fence are in need of re-staining. Please use one of the pre-approved colors and in doing so you will not need to go through the ACC Approval process.

Thank you,
Your Board of Directors

How It All Works

From Association Government

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
