Surrounded by the natural beauty of Carolina pines, majestic oaks and native shrubbery, this beautiful development of 116 custom-built homes remains one of North Raleigh's most popular neighborhoods. A throw-back to earlier times, the welcoming nature and genuine friendliness of the residents, coupled with the many and varied social activities throughout the year, make this one of the finest communities in which to invest your family's lives and resources.

Vandalism in the Neighborhood
There have been several neighbor reports of vandalism in Westwind and Ashworth over the past week. Some of the activities reported include:
• exploding soda bottles thrown in yards and at front doors;
• cars traveling recklessly at fast speeds and doing doughnuts in cul de sacs
• one incident involving a car being driven into a front yard,
destroying landscaping and personal property
• theft from a vehicle while parked on the owner's driveway.
The best thing we can do to stop this from happening is to be vigilant and report suspicious behavior to the police. If there is not immediate danger, the non-emergency Raleigh Police number to call is 831-6311. Of course, if you are concerned about personal safety, please dial 911.
