Timarron Board of Directors Election
Want to serve on the Timarron Board of Directors? This year, Voting Members elect two (2) Board positions for the next 2-year term. Please complete and return this application by August 31, 2010 to the on-site office. This gives Delegates an opportunity to review applications prior to elections in September. All Timarron Owners Association decisions are made by a Board majority, with input from Delegates and Committee Members.

NEIGHBORHOOD DELEGATE ELECTIONS
Would you like to help impact decisions that affect your Neighborhood? What about great new owners in your Neighborhood and disburse information? If you are a Timarron Association property owner, in good standing, and wish to be involved in activities that make this Community a great place to live; join the Delegate team. Delegates (“Voting Members”) are neighborhood representatives who annually elect the Timarron Board of Directors, as well as communicate Neighborhood concerns with property management. Delegate Meetings are held on a quarterly basis. If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to contact the Timarron Owners Association on-site office or speak with a current Delegate. Delegate applications are due before August 1st and are available using the link below or from the TOA on-site office. Elections are held when the Association receives more applications than available seats. Timarron needs YOU to keep her great!!! Become a Neighborhood Delegate and you will find yourself at the September annual meeting electing the new 2010 – 2011 Board of Directors. See you there!!! Current Delegates, please remember to fill out your application as well.

FALL GARAGE SALE
Date:    Friday, October 15th

Time:    9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Turn your unused items into cash! 

Simply place balloons by your mailbox or gate when you want to be open for shoppers. Please do not place out your own garage sale signs. The Cities have specific sign requirements including approved posting location requirements. Homeowners can tie balloons to posts of Timarron signs at their posted entrance, but please do not place individual signs at entrances, etc.

Timarron is posting advertisements in the Journal publications.

PRESALE NIGHT:

Your fellow residents will be able to preview the merchandise on Thursday, October 14th.  Place your balloons outside between 4:00-7:00 PM if you are ready get an early start.

AFTER THE SALE:

You can donate what is left by calling a charity of your preference to pick up your items and receive a tax receipt.  Here are some places that would be happy to receive your clothing & household items in good condition:

The Second Glance Resale Shop - Benefits the Open Arms Shelter. 817-909-8765 (ask for Albert or leave a message)

The Arc of Texas -  Support people with disabilities.  817-624-7001

Graceful Buys & Touch of Grace - Support food pantries and housing for the needy. Clothing and small items must be taken to their donation station in Grapevine.  They will pick up furniture and working appliances.  817-305-4673

Haltom Thrift - The proceeds benefit Leukemia Texas (www.LeukemiaTexas.org). Haltom Thrift will be sending a truck to Timarron on Monday, October 18th. No need to be home for pick-up. Note:

Timarron only has a single spring and fall garage sale for one weekend only. Any other garage sale is against CC&R policy.


ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE –HALLOWEEN DAY!!
The Carroll Drum Line leads the 11th Annual Timarron Halloween Parade. Come in your costume and participate in the Timarron Halloween Parade. Participants and viewers, please meet at Wentwood Parking Lot and cheer on our kids. The parade begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. Be early so you do not miss this annual Timarron event.

Have a great time and show off your costume!

Homeowner Login Instructions
To sign on to the homeowner section of the website:

• Click on “Sign up for new account” in the login area on the right of the homepage.
• When prompted to enter your account ID, enter 7-digit account number from billing
• Register as a first time user and create your own user ID and password.

Each Owner may use an email address once, so additional persons listed on your account must should a different email address. User ID and password information is secured and not available to Principal Management personnel, so save this information in a safe place. Timarron homeowners do receive periodic (VERY PERIODIC) alert emails.

If you misplace this information, click “Forgot Your Password” and the webmaster emails the information to your email address previously entered.

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
