Living in The Columbia Residences Condo
The Columbia Residences Condo of Washington DC is a 225 unit condominium on L Street NW between 24th and 25th Streets. The condominium was built on the grounds of where the Columbia Hospital for Women was located. In fact, the original structure still stands, but Trammell Crow added an East and West Wing to the structure.
The Residences is a very high end building; its beauty, prominent location, distinctive pergolas, belfries and penthouse belvedere, rise gracefully above treelined 25th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. In May of 2007, the Board took over from the Developer.
