Committee Members Needed

The master association is in need of committee member volunteers!   Being part of any committee requires dedication of some personal time; if you are not able to or are not willing to dedicate at least one night a month to attend a committee meeting and additional time for research and other committee duties please do not apply as it takes the position away from someone who is able to dedicate the time needed.  Each committee's charter, which explains the responsibilities and expectations of members, is located on the community web-site in the Committees folder in the Resource Center.

Open Positions

*     Budget and Finance Committee - currently has two open positions.

*     Communications Committee - currently has one open position.

*     Covenants Committee - currently has three open positions.

*     Facilities and Grounds Committee - currently has two open positions.

Additionally, the Social Committee is always in need of non-member volunteers.

To be eligible to serve on any committee you must be an owner in good standing.  If you are not listed as the owner of your unit you are not eligible to be on any of the committees.  If there is more than one owner for a particular unit then all owners are eligible to be on a committee but they cannot serve on the same committee.

If you are able to put forth the time, effort, and dedication to help better the community please submit a completed application to the management office.  You can find the application on the community web-site, www.potomac-club.com; it’s located in the ‘All Documents’ Section and titled ‘Committee Interest Form’.  Applications can be emailed to abishop@legumnorman.com or svandenheuvel@legumnorman.com, dropped off, mailed, or faxed to the on-site management office.

Thank you!  Have a wonderful day!

How It All Works

From Association Government

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
