NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION IN THE PINECREST WEDNESDAY, 26 NOVEMBER 2014

As many of you know, our Pinecrest Board of Directors has been seeking a solution for the slow erosion occurring on the slope of the large pond next to Pinecrest Vista Drive. Recently, all required permits have been obtained from the VA Department of Transportation and Fairfax County. The pond slope will be reinforced and augmented with stone, preventing further erosion.

There will be noise, limited construction traffic, and temporary elimination of parking along Pinecrest Vista Drive where the work will be taking place. You will be able to continue driving on Pinecrest Vista Drive.

WEDNESDAY , NOVEMBER 26, 2014 (weather permitting), Muller Erosion & Site Services, Inc. will begin construction on the pond slope project to include:

  • Removal of a portion of the guardrail
  • Installation of construction safety fencing
  • No parking tape and cones placed on Pinecrest Vista Drive where the work will be taking place.
  • Establishment of a construction base site.
  • Delivery of several loads of stone, to include very large stones
  • Operation of heavy equipment

1. Residents are advised not to climb over or remove any construction fencing.

2. Construction will take approximately two (2) weeks.

3. Questions or concerns can be addressed to Brandi Quinlan at: bquinlan@cmc-management.com.

4. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

NOTE to Pinecrest Owners who purchased their homes prior to January 2005:

If you own your home jointly with your spouse or another person, and only one name is appearing on materials from CMC, including only one owner's name on this online account, please contact CMC to ask them to correct the ownership information. CMC will confirm ownership and update their company records. The previous management company's records only listed the name of one owner, which accounts for this problem. CMC assumed PCA management in January 2004 and since then all new owner information should have been accurately recorded. CMC Contact: Customer Services at (703) 631-7200, exts 254 or 270.
