Getty Center Bus Trip
Saturday February 25, 2012

BUS TRIP

 

GETTY CENTER, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH. Cost is $54.00. Bus will leave at 8:00 in the Palm Valley parking lot across from the HOA building on Country Club and return approximately 5:00 pm. No-host lunch on the premises. The Getty Center presents a collection of Western Art from the middle ages to the present against a background of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens and breathtaking views. Journaling/Memoir Writing

Classes are 4-week sessions beginning on Wednesday, January 11th, 18th, 25th and February 1st from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm for Creative Writing. The second session, Journaling/Memoir Writing will be held Wednesdays, February 15th, 22nd, 29th and March 7th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Cost for each 4-session class is $35.00 payable the first day of class, limited to 12 participants. Contact Lucy at (760) 610-5355 or e-mail loocyb@aol.com to reserve space.

Artists Group
Monday January 23, 2012
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Calling all oil, acrylic and watercolor artists - regardless of level - to the Palm Valley Artists Group.  We will meet in January on the 9th and 30th, 1 - 4 p.m. at the HOA building. No charge. On January 23, 1 - 4 p.m. Moira Johannsen, acclaimed watercolorist and instructor at the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs will teach watercolor. Cost for that session is $25.00. Make checks payable to Moira Johannsen and deliver to Bonnie at the HOA prior to January 23.  Space is limited to 10 artists.  For reservations and questions contact Sandie Eichberg, 760-636-1656 or sgeichberg13@gmail.com

These locally grown fruits and vegetables and the stands will be located in the Country Club parking lot area across from the HOA office. 

 

Farmer Market Days will be scheduled on Saturdays, between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

Please let your fellow Palm Valley friends and neighbors know about this great opportunity to shop for fresh produce right here on property.
