Attention Residents
February 19, 2010

Martin’s Chase residents,

At the Town Hall meeting last month, many of you expressed interest in wanting to serve on a Pool/Clubhouse Committee and a Covenants Committee. The basic function of the pool/clubhouse committee would be to assist the Association and Management with items related to these two areas, and the covenants committee would assist with ensuring the covenants of the HOA are being met. More specifics on these committees will be discussed once committee charters have been reviewed at the March Board Meeting.

If you are still interested, please e-mail me with your name and contact information for the Board of Directors’ consideration.

We will also be sending notices out to the community with the 2010 Board meeting schedule. The schedule is as follows (dates subject to change): March 2nd, May 4th, July 6th, September 7th, and November 2nd. The meetings will be held at the clubhouse starting at 7:00 p.m. There will also be office hours at the clubhouse before each meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.

We look forward to hearing from you.

How It All Works

From Association Government

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
