Welcome to Lochmere!
Lochmere's prime location in east Cary makes our planned community one of Cary's most popular neighborhoods. With lots of open space, greenways, walking trails, lakes and more, this is a great place to call home for young and old alike.

Visit the Recreation Club of Lochmere website to view schedules and information about the swim and tennis facilities.

DANCE FOR YOUR HEALTH

The News and Observer recently ran the series, “Exercise: The Real Wonder Drug”.  We agree that exercise is very important to our well being and can even be fun.  We find that square dance once a week is not only fun, but it provides exercise for the body, stimulates the mind and is a great way to make new friends.  We recommend square dance as a supplement to your other exercise programs.  To help you get started the TNT Twirlers club in Cary will be holding an open house on February 20th and 27th  for anyone interested in learning more about square dance.  Classes for new dancers will begin March 5th.  See http://sites.google.com/site/tnttwirlers for more information or call Rhea Price at 919-467-8697.  The TNT Twirlers Club is very informal and no special attire is needed.

How It All Works

From Association Government

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
