KICK OFF THE SUMMER WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS MAY 19

Mark your calendars; Saturday, May 19th is a big day for Harborside. Come out to the common area at the pool to meet your neighbors and have fun in a relaxed atmosphere and bring the kids.

Activities will start at noon with a gathering of the neighborhood Crime Watch group. Representatives from the Rowlett Police and Fire departments will be on hand and there’ll be free hot dogs and lots of good information on how to make our neighborhood a safer place for all of us.

At 3:00 p.m., the real party begins, sponsored by the Board of Directors and a generous donation from PMG. We’ll have more hot dogs, burgers, and a pot luck array of culinary delights. We ask everyone to bring a covered dish of your choosing (something that won’t spoil in the heat) and your favorite beverage (no glass containers). Also bring a lawn chair or blanket (if you prefer to sit on the ground).

There will be fun games and activities for both children and adults, music (including a karaoke contest), a bounce house, and more. Most important, you’ll be in good company!

If you can help with planning and implementation, contact one of your board members or email us at harborsidehoa@live.com. We need folding tables, coolers, plastic cups, etc. We are also soliciting donations from local businesses to help fund the event, so if you know anyone who would like to donate in exchange for having a sign up at the event, please ask them to get in touch with us.

The board is working hard to make this the best Harbor Owners party ever. Tell your neighbors!
