TO:                  Gold Coast Condominium Association Owners

SUBJECT:     2014 Annual Membership Meeting and Director Election


The 2014 Annual Meeting and Election for The Gold Coast Condominium Association is scheduled for December 9, 2014, the meeting will be held in the Exercise Room of the building.   Owner sign-in for ballots will start at 6:00 pm. the Annual Meeting will start immediately following the Board meeting at 6:00PM.  At this meeting, the homeowners will elect Three (3) Directors.  Each will serve a two-year term. 

4 homeowners are currently candidates for the Three (3) Director positions.

A Quorum is needed for the Annual Meeting.  If will not be able to attend the meeting please make sure that your Proxy is turned in by 12/5/14 by 5:00pm.

For those of you who will be unable to attend the Annual meeting, I will be happy to print out a copy of the proxy, or email it to you or a proxy is available on our website at www.71EastDivision.com.  This proxy must be signed and dated by owner(s) of unit.  If you are not able to attend the Annual Meeting please make sure that you submit a proxy so we will have a   

Please return your proxy via email at AJames@LNChicago.com or you can fax to Amy James 312-266-7664 by Friday, December 5, 2014 so we can establish quorum, you may also leave your proxy with the Front Desk.  

The Proxy holder may also present the signed form at the Annual Meeting upon registration 


Homeowner’s Insurance Requirement

To: All Unit Owners                                            

This notice will serve as a reminder that our Association requires you have the following Homeowner’s insurance policy:


Homeowner’s Insurance

The owner of every unit must obtain and maintain an insurance policy providing a minimum of $300,000 of insurance coverage for personal liability and compensatory damages resulting from property damage caused to another unit that originates in the insured’s unit, and damage to another unit caused by the negligence of the insured or his/her guests, residents or invitees. This requirement is not satisfied by an insurance policy obtained by a renter. Every unit owner must provide the Management Office with a certificate of insurance confirming the existence of required insurance coverage between April 1st and May 1st of every year.


If you have not already done so, please make sure that you have your insurance company send me a certificate of insurance as soon as possible.  They can fax the certificate or email it to me at the address below.
