Start of Hallway Project- Phase 1- Staining of Doors

Monday September 8, 2014 (All Day)

August 29, 2014

Phase 1 of the Hallway Redecoration Project

Front Door Staining and Patching

Monday, September 8th at 8:00AM

To: All Unit Owners/Tenants

The Board of Directors, The Hallway Decorating Committee and Management are very excited to announce phase 1 of the 2014 Hallway redecoration project.

Phase 1, will begin with the patching and staining of the front doors (the hallway side of the door only), on Monday, September, 8th at 8am.

We will be starting on the 19th Floor and working our way down.  When they are working on the doors on your floor, the contractor will be removing all your locks, door knocker and everything else that may be on your door.  The locks will be replaced at the end of each day and the door knockers will be re-installed when your door is finished.  If you have any decorative accessories on or in front of your door, please make sure that you take them off or move them away.

Each of your unit doors will have to be open at least 8 hours when they are patching and staining the doors on your floor and a security guard will be stationed in each hallway during work.  Each door will take approximately 2 days to finish.  Phase 1, the Patching and Staining of the Hallway doors, will take approximately 3 weeks to finish.

Phase 2 of the Hallway redecoration, which will include new paint, carpet, baseboard, trash chute rooms will begin during the patching and staining of the hallway door project.  I will send out a more detailed notice soon.

Again, I’m confident that all of these projects will be a great asset to the association! Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions please call or email me or if I am out of the office on vacation you can email askus@LNChicago.com or call Customer Service at 312-944-2611.

Homeowner’s Insurance Requirement

To: All Unit Owners

This notice will serve as a reminder that our Association requires you have the following Homeowner’s insurance policy:

Homeowner’s Insurance

The owner of every unit must obtain and maintain an insurance policy providing a minimum of $300,000 of insurance coverage for personal liability and compensatory damages resulting from property damage caused to another unit that originates in the insured’s unit, and damage to another unit caused by the negligence of the insured or his/her guests, residents or invitees. This requirement is not satisfied by an insurance policy obtained by a renter. Every unit owner must provide the Management Office with a certificate of insurance confirming the existence of required insurance coverage between April 1st and May 1st of every year.

If you have not already done so, please make sure that you have your insurance company send me a certificate of insurance as soon as possible.  They can fax the certificate or email it to me at the address below.

Please call me if you have any questions,

Thanks for your cooperation
