This notice will serve as a reminder that our Association requires you have the following Homeowner’s insurance policy:
The owner of every unit must obtain and maintain an insurance policy providing a minimum of $300,000 of insurance coverage for personal liability and compensatory damages resulting from property damage caused to another unit that originates in the insured’s unit, and damage to another unit caused by the negligence of the insured or his/her guests, residents or invitees. This requirement is not satisfied by an insurance policy obtained by a renter. Every unit owner must provide the Management Office with a certificate of insurance confirming the existence of required insurance coverage between April 1st and May 1st of every year.
If you have not already done so, please make sure that you have your insurance company send me a certificate of insurance as soon as possible. They can fax the certificate or email it to me at the address below.
