The Following Message Is from the Farrcroft Grounds Committee:
In early March contractors will begin clearing invasive vines and other invasive plants from the wooded conservation area along Daniels Run. This work, which began in 2008 with the clearing of a one-third-acre test plot near the Old Lee Highway entrance, will be done by specialized personnel from Thrive Landscapes with the approval of the City Zoning office and with the advice and assistance of an Urban Forester from the Virginia Department of Forestry. The goal is to restore the natural beauty and health of the entire wooded corridor of Daniels Run, from the Old Lee Highway entrance to Farrcroft Drive at the Main Street entrance. The area to be cleared this year is between the Old Lee Highway entrance and the small bridge. Our plan is to clear the remaining areas in 2011 and 2012.

How It All Works

From Association Government

Board Member Responsibilities

The Board is ultimately responsible for the oversight of the community association ("the buck stops with the Board"). Although the Board may retain and delegate some of its duties to volunteers, contractors and professionals, the Board is still ultimately responsible for the duties it may have assigned to others.
