Dear Valued Homeowner,

Regarding:  Maintenance Fee Payment Notice
At Associa, we take our financial responsibility to your community very seriously.  We are transitioning the association’s operating account from BB&T Bank to Union Bank on January 1, 2016. 

 How does this change benefit you? We work with Union Bank in multiple markets and are therefore able to leverage the following benefits for all homeowners:

  • Protection from bank fee increases due to banking rate changes or fee charges.
  • Access to payment options consistent with your association’s documents.
  • Quicker payment posting to your account.

 What will you need to do?  Beginning January 1, 2016, you will need to send your payment to Union Bank. New coupons will be sent to you prior to January 1, 2016 so that you have the correct bank information to mail your payments to.  Depending on your current payment preference, you will need to take one of the following actions:

  • If you currently pay through ACH direct debit, you will need to sign up for ACH direct debit payment for Union Bank. The ACH direct debit form is attached.  Please complete your form and have it returned no later than November 20, 2015 to continue ACH direct debit payments.  To clarify some items on this form so that it is filled out correctly: 


    • Homeowner’s Account Number (ID) is below on this letter
    • Association Name and Unit would be the association you are filling this form out for.  You will NOT include a Unit #. 


  • If you currently have your payments set up through your bank, you will need to change the payment information with your bank so that payments will be made out and mailed to Union Bank rather than BB&T effective January 1, 2016.
  • If you pay via check, you will receive new coupons with the updated lockbox mailing address.  Please send your payment to the new address.  Please note the coupon books for the 2016 year only will be sent at no charge to your association. 

 If you do not currently pay your assessments via ACH Direct Debit but would like to, please use the attached form to sign up!
